Bordered by the 680-acre Devils Lake on the east, the city offers ample water activities as well, including a plethora of fishing options. Lighthouse Views

Explore beautiful tide pools and witness Oregon’s tallest lighthouse at Yaquina Head Natural Area. Standing at 93 feet tall, the lighthouse has been a beacon of guidance since it was first built in 1873. Make sure to check out the little off-shore islands in the Natural Area, too, as the Oregon coast is a year-round sanctuary for harbor seals and a spring-summer home for thousands of nesting seabirds. If you are spending a summertime Oregon Beach vacation in Lincoln City, be sure to check the coast for gray whales, as they tend to feed in the shallow waters around the headland during these months.
